The year is 1530, and you are cordially invited to the wedding of Katharina, a Duchess from Saxony, and Johann, a Margraf of Kulmbach-Ansbach. The wedding feast will have a variety of roast meats, delectable sweets, and surprising subtleties.
Although Katharina and Johann are fictional characters in our story, the wedding banquet will follow along the lines of wedding feasts from the period. The feast will adapt its menu from descriptions of wedding feasts and use recipes from period cookbooks.
The tentative schedule is a potluck on Friday night, classes and the feast on Saturday, and clean-up/closing on Sunday. Dancing and Games will follow the feast. The final schedule will be posted as the event gets closer.

This is the preliminary menu and is representative if what will be served at PPFN II. Please note that the menu is subject to change based on the availability of products and as additional cooking tests are conducted. The final menu will be posted closer to the event, tentatively in mid-August.

Diners at our High Table will experience special presentations and carving services along with the following proposed additional dishes:
